Sunday 5/31 Coupon Insert Preview

Go HERE for a preview of the coupons that will be in this Sunday's paper. This list is actually for the Pittsburgh area, and certain coupons and coupon values are regional, so it's definitely not a guarantee of what will be in your paper, but it gives you a rough idea. There will be a SmartSource and a Red Plum insert. Also, if you're in Colorado Springs and are debating about subscribing to a paper, I would recommend going with the Denver Post over the Gazette (strictly speaking in terms of coupons here). The Post pretty much always has MORE and higher dollar value coupons than the Gazette.

If You Haven't Already, You Really Need to Get Signed Up For Swagbucks!!

OK, so I know I have lots of new readers here in the past few weeks, and it's been a while since I did a post about swagbucks. So, here's the deal - it's just a search engine that you use - like you would google or any other search engine. But, the key with this one is that you earn swagbucks for doing those internet searches, and once you earn enough "bucks" you get to visit the swagstore and exchange your swagbucks for prizes. I personally like to use them to get $5 Amazon.com gift cards. So far I have earned 19 $5 gift cards. That's $95 in FREE money to spend on Amazon, my friends. I am LOVING it! So, here's what you need to do if you want to get signed up. Go HERE to get registered and use the code: SAVINGLIKECRAZY1 (it IS case sensitive) and you'll earn your first FIVE swagbucks just for getting signed up. Then, they key to earning more is to use swagbucks for all your internet searches AND spread the word to your friends and family and have them sign up under you so that you can earn much faster. Your earnings will be slow at first, but if you spread the word and get some friends signed up under you, you'll be amazed how many swagbucks you can earn while you're out running errands. :) If you have questions about how it works, let me know. Please be aware that the swagcode I listed is only valid for people who are signing up for the first time (I hope to get one for all of you already swagbucking friends soon! Have a great day!

Update on the $1 Flip Flops at Old Navy this Saturday

So I stopped in to Old Navy today to check out the flip flop selection, and while I was there I decided to ask an employee - if I buy my flip flops today, can I come back on Saturday and get reimbursed to the $1 sale price. The answer? Yep, you sure can! So, I got some flip flops 2 pairs for $5, and on Saturday I'll go back and get my $3 back without having to throw elbows, be disappointed by the shortage of colors or sizes I need, etc. (When you have a size 11 foot, this sort of thing is important. :))

So, just wanted to let you all know that if you're willing to make 2 trips, you can go now and have your pick of the solid flip flops and get your money back on Saturday. Enjoy!

GREAT Huggies Deal at King Soopers this Week!

OK, so the online King Soopers ad is out, and I couldn't wait to share this exciting deal.

This week, if you buy $15 worth of Huggies products, you get $3 automatically taken off your bill (you can take advantage of the $3 instant savings twice per transaction).
Jumbo packs of Huggies diapers are on sale for $8.99/pack.

So, buy 2 packs for a total of $17.98
-$3 automatic savings brings the total to $14.98
Use 2 $2 off printable coupons that I posted about earlier tonight, brings your total to $10.98
Use the $3.00 Cellfire coupon (check out Cellfire and load the coupons to your King Soopers card HERE)
Brings your total to $7.98 for 2 jumbo packs of diapers! (and, I'm not sure if you can use 2 Cellfire coupons or not, but if you can, there's also a $1/1 Huggies coupon out there - I'm pretty new to Cellfire, so feel free to comment if you know)
If the 2nd Cellfire coupon works - Grand total of $6.98 for 2 jumbo packs of Huggies. I'm loving this deal!!

No Coupon Inserts this Sunday!

Just a reminder that there are no coupons scheduled for this Sunday's paper. If you're new to couponing, you'll learn that holiday weekends typically mean no coupons. So, take a week off from the clipping and enjoy your Memorial Day weekend!!

$5 off $25 or More Purchase at Walgreens

Go HEREfor a coupon for $5/$25 or more purchase at Walgreens. BUT, keep in mind that the fine print on this coupon does state that the $25 must be after both Walgreens and manufacturer coupons. My recommendation would be to use it to buy LOTS of Register Rewards items if you choose to take advantage of this coupon, that way after you spend your $20, you'll have some RR to use...

$2 Huggies Printable coupon!!

Go HERE to print a $2 Huggies coupon. If you can't get it to work, try going HERE and then scrolling to the bottom and click on "savings central" For some reason I could not get the coupons to print after completing the survey, but if I scrolled to the bottom and clicked on "savings central," they printed just fine - 2 to a page, and I was able to do it twice, which means 4 $2 Huggies coupons! Leave a comment and let me know if you're able to do it. I'm curious if it's still available because some people have been having difficulties. Stay tuned because it sounds like Kroger brand stores (as in King Soopers) are going to be having some good Huggies deals coming up this week...

Old Navy Flip Flop Deal This Saturday

This Saturday, May 23rd, Old Navy is having a $1 flip flop sale. All of their solid colored flip flops will be on sale for just $1 per pair. They say that people line up early for this event, so mark your calendars!

Thanks Deal Seeking Mom, for this one!

NON-Free Movie Monday!

Today I got a text letting me know that free movie Mondays are now the first Monday of every month, so I can expect to receive a new code on Monday, June 1st. Sorry to disappoint!

However, if you've never used this code, it should still work:

DVDONME

And, even if you have used it, use a different card and you should be able to use it again! :) I make no guarantees, but I'm pretty sure that one is still valid.

Walgreens Deals This Week - 5/17 to 5/23

Here are some of the Walgreens highlights this week:

Register Rewards Deals:
(I know I have some new readers, so I'm going to give a quick explanation of the Walgreens register rewards. They are coupons that print out after you pay, and can be used for ANYTHING you purchase on your next transaction. Keep in mind that you cannot roll register rewards for the same deal. So, for example you can't buy the Colgate Visible White toothpaste, get the $4.49 RR and then take that same RR to buy another one and get another print out. The 2nd time around, a register reward will not print. So, you have to carefully plan your transactions to make the most of your register rewards. I'll list my register rewards scenario for this week down below. Another thing to keep in mind is that a RR is considered a manufacturer coupon, and you cannot have more manufacturer coupons than you have items.)

** Also keep in mind that if you are military, most Colorado Springs Walgreens give a 15% military discount on Tuesdays. To get the discount, you must pay at the cosmetics counter and show your ID.

Colgate Visible White toothpaste $4.49, get a $4.49RR
Use the $1 coupon from HERE
Final cost FREE + an extra $1!

Skintimate Shave Gel or Edge Shave Gel $1.99, get a $1RR
Use the .75 Skintimate coupon from the 4/26SS, or use the .75 Edge coupon from the 5/17 SS insert
Final cost .25 after coupon and RR

Right Guard Deodorant Professional Strength $5.99, get a $5RR
Use the $1 coupon from the 4/19SS
Final cost FREE!

Glade Sense and Spray or Lasting Impressions $8.99, get a $1.50RR
Use the $4 coupon from the 5/10SS
Final cost $2.49, however I wouldn't buy them at Walgreens - these are on roll back for $5 at Wal-Mart, use the same $4 coupon and get them for $1!

BIC Bonus pack utility Lighter $2.99, get a $1RR
Use the $1 coupon from the 5/17SS
Final cost - .99

Off Clip-on mosquito repellent $8.99, get a $3RR
Use the buy one get one free coupon from HERE
Then, use the $2 coupon from the 5/17SS
for the one that is not free
Final cost $3.99 for 2, $2 each

Other good deals:
Purex laundry detergent B1G1 FREE
Use the B1G1 FREE coupon that was previously available to print (sorry it's no longer out there), and get 2 bottles "free" - in reality, the coupon is for up to $7, so it will be $1.99 for 2 bottles of laundry soap.

Reynolds foil 20 ft or wax paper 75 ft .89 with in ad coupon
Use the .55 coupon from the 4/19SS
Final cost .34!

Mix n Match household cleaners (Soft Scrub, Lime-a-way, Scrubbing Bubbles, Windex, Nature's Source - 2/$6
Use the B1G1 Free Soft Scrub coupon from the 5/17 SS insert, and get 2 Soft Scrub items for $3, only $1.50 each!

Scotch Tape (3 pack) - 2/$3 or $1.50 each...I don't know about you, but at my house with my 3 and 5 year olds - we go through a LOT of tape! :)

There are lots of in ad coupons for Coke products, Gatorade, Nestle Spring Water, Splenda, Scott Bathroom tissue, paper plates, Mitchum Deodorant, Royal Gelatin, Deerfield Farms Cheese, Hershey's candy bars, digital prints, Joy Dish liquid, facial tissue, water balloons, alli weight loss starter pack, Brawny paper towels, and the wax paper or aluminum foil one - so be sure to check the ad - you can pick one up off of the rack at the front of the store!

OK, so here's my RR plan this week:
Right now I have a $5 RR that I got last week. I plan to take it and buy the Colgate Invisible White toothpaste. Because I have a printable coupon as well as a RR, I will also be buying the .99 paper plates using the Walgreens in-ad coupon. I'll also throw in 2 .49 Hershey's candy bars with the in ad coupon to get my total before tax over $5. I will pay .46 plus tax and get a RR for $4.49
I will take my $4.49 RR and buy the Right Guard professional, which will be $4.99 with my coupon. In order to use both the manufacturer coupon and the register reward, I'll need a filler item, so I will get something as cheap as possible, pay less than a dollar and get another $5 RR.
I'll take my $5 RR and do the B1G1 Purex deal with the B1G1 coupons twice, which will bring my total to about $4, then I'll throw in a Skintimate or Edge Shave Gel and with my coupon it will be $1.24, which will use up the rest of my $5 RR. I'll pay some change and I'll get a $1 RR to use on something else.

Coupon Insert Preview for this Sunday

Here's a preview of the coupons that we'll be getting this Sunday. Keep in mind that some coupons vary by region and by newspaper, so there are no guarantees that you'll get all of these. A little hint in the Springs - the Denver Post usually has more and higher dollar value coupons than the Gazette. But, if you're picking them up at a news stand - be sure to check and make sure that there are actually coupons in them!

Mars Real Chocolate Relief Act

From now through the summer, Mars is offering a coupon for a free candy bar to the first so many people that sign up HERE every Friday. The form becomes available at 9 am Eastern. Last week they offered them to the first 250,000. This week it's the first 500,000. So, hurry over and get signed up for your FREE chocolate!

Free Hallmark Card - Mailed and Everything

Thanks to Mommies with Cents for the heads up on this one. Below are the steps for sending a free Hallmark card. You get to pick when it sends. Think upcoming birthdays, Father's Day, anniversaries, etc...

1. Select your Hallmark paper folded 5x7 card (remember that you can select any paper or photo card, not just the ones featured)

2. Personalize the text/photos on the front, inside, and back of the card

3. Sign-in to your Hallmark account (or create one for free)

3. Mail it directly to your recipient so that Hallmark pays for that stamp if you'd be mailing it anyways. Select "I want Hallmark to mail this card for me" and enter your recipient's address.

4. Choose your arrival date (soonest is May 6) and then add the card to your shopping basket.

5. Enter Code: ICTCARD. The code is not case-sensitive. The total cost without the promotion card would have been $3.91. The entire $3.91 will be deducted on the order screen. Your cost - FREE!

6. Check out and "Submit Order Now". You will not be asked for any billing information because your total was $0.00.

Please note that you do need to sign-in or create a free Hallmark account in order to order your card.
