Ortega Deal at the Commissary

On Saturday I stopped by the Peterson AFB commissary for a few things and I came across a nice deal that I thought I'd share. Packets of Ortega taco seasoning cost .44 each. There were tearpad coupons for $1/2 Ortega products hanging right next to them. Final cost - 2 packs of seasoning for FREE plus .12 overage! I have no idea if these coupons are available at other commissaries, but if you happen to be in one, you may want to take a quick peek and see!

Hot Candy Printables....Halloween is just around the corner!

Go HERE for 2 hot candy coupon printables. $2/1 24 oz or larger bag of Nestle candy and $2/1 24 oz or larger bag of Wonka candy. I imagine these won't be available all that long, so you probably want to print them right away!

A Few Grocery Highlights for the Week

OK, below is a rundown of some of the very best deals I see at the grocery stores around town this week. As I mentioned before, I won't be doing full ad reviews anymore - it had just become too time consuming. Also, keep in mind that you can price match these deals at Wal-Mart or Target if you don't have the time to hit each store. However, Albertsons, King Soopers and Safeway are all doubling this week (Safeway and KS always do!) - so if there are coupon deals you want to snag - hitting that store is likely worth the trip!

10 lb bag of potatoes - .99!
Lucerne gallon milk - $1.88
Bartlett Pears - .50/lb
Kraft Mac & cheese - .33/box (Saturday and Sunday only)
Red Raspberries - $1.50 each (5.6 oz) (Saturday and Sunday only)

I'm Back!

OK, so I apologize for the LONG delay since my last post. I think things have finally settled down a little bit and my kids are mostly well, so I'm going to get back to blogging. However, going forward I probably will not do ad reviews for all of the local stores each week. I may do some on occasion when there are great promotions available, but in general I am going to keep it more to the random deals and freebies and printable coupons that the majority of you reading this can take advantage of. So, here goes!!

First, here's how you can get REALLY cheap Skippy peanut butter at Target:
Skippy is priced at $2.04
Take in your Walgreen's ad and price match to get it for $1.66 each.
Then, use the $1/1 Target coupon HERE bringing it down to .66
And, use the .40/1 manufacturer coupon from the 10/4 RP insert to get it for .24 each!
I don't know about all of you, but we go through some serious peanut butter at our house! By the way, if you don't want to mess with price matching, you can still use the 2 coupons and get it for .64 each.

Stay tuned for more posts later today!!
