Spray N Wash Deal at Safeway

If you have a Safeway nearby, they have a great deal on Spray N Wash right now. The price is $1.49 per bottle IF you buy 3. You must buy 3 to get that price. Then, there were .50/1 coupons in the 9/13 SS insert. After doubles, that makes them only .49 per bottle. I don't know about all of you, but I go through a LOT of this stuff! This deal is available until early October sometime, so you've got plenty of time to stock up!

By the way, my blog is not going away, but I'm probably going to have a slow week this week since I wasn't able to send my computer in last week - it's going out today. I will still try to post anything really fabulous for you, though. Also, going forward I will probably be doing a much more abbreviated version of the weekly ad reviews and only covering the major highlights for the local grocery stores. Thanks for your patience while I took a little break!

Something's Got to Give

To all of my loyal readers - you're the best! I apologize for the lack of updates lately. Part of the issue is that my laptop is having problems and I'm about to send it in for some work. The other part of the problem is that life has taken over and lately I have just had to cut out some of my blogging time. So, I've decided that this carpooling, preschool teaching, school volunteering, busy mommy of 3 and primary president (for those of you that are LDS, you know what I'm talking about - if you don't, just know that it's a demanding volunteer job within our church that I love, but that takes a LOT of time!) needs to take a break. At this point, I'm just planning to take the week off while my laptop has some repairs done and I get a little caught up on life. However, it's possible that I may have to put an end to Saving Like Crazy all together - I'm just not sure if I'm going to be able to continue to swing it with everything else I have going. Please check back with me over the next week or so. I'll keep you posted on my plans, and you can bet that I will absolutely be continuing to be a bargain shopper - I'm too hooked to give that up! I hope you all can understand my need to take a step back and re-evaluate the things that are consuming my time right now. My 3 little ones are growing SO fast - youngest turned 1 today - and I'm trying to enjoy them as much as I can because I know they won't be little for long.

I will hopefully be back in the loop in a week or so, and I thank you all for your support! :)

Career Step - Medical Transcription and Billing/Coding Programs

This is not the type of thing that I normally post about, however I think it's too good of an opportunity not to share. Career Step is a well respected medical transcription and medical billing/coding training program. It is all completed online. I am actually in the process of going through the program now. Unfortunately, when I signed up, I wasn't aware of the program that I'm telling you about. It is a program that is not approved for payment by the Military Spouse Career Advancement Account. So, basically, if you're a military spouse, you can go through this course, which will prepare you for a career in either medical transcription or medical coding completely FREE! Go HERE for details about the program. On their home page they have a section specifically about this opportunity for military spouses. When you complete the training, you'll be trained in a career field that can move around with you. There are lots of legitimate at home opportunities in these areas. Like I said, I'm a current student. Unfortunately I paid for the program before these funds were available, but I'm very happy with it so far. If you have any questions about it or anything, I'd be happy to answer them. Also, if you do decide to sign up, I'd love for you to include my information under "referral information" so if you decide to do so, please drop me an e-mail and I'll share my info. My e-mail is If any of you decide to give it a shot - I wish you the best with it!

Military Commissary Case Lot Sale Time Again!

If you have access to a military commissary, case lot season has arrived again. The Peterson AFB case lot sale is happening now - September 4-6th. I have to warn you - I went in there today and it is CRAZY in there! The line to check out was wrapped through the frozen/dairy area and then around the back of the store to the meat counter. I went with the intention of getting some prices on things, however I didn't have much luck because it was a madhouse and I had a couple of little ones with me. I did see cases of 12 boxes of Pasta Roni for $7.88, cases of Healthy Choice soups (vegetable, ham & bean, or chicken noodle) for $12, but then there were $3 worth of coupons attached to them, so $9 for 12 cans. There were cases of 6 bottles of Snuggle fabric softener for $10.50, 18 pouches of Betty Crocker brownie mixes for $8, etc. Like I said, I wasn't able to get a really good look at things because it was just too crazy in there.

Other local commissary case lot sales:
Fort Carson - September 18 & 19th
Air Force Academy - ends today (September 2, 3, 4th)
Buckley AFB (Aurora, CO) - September 18th & 19th)

If you find any great deals, let us know in the comments!

Enjoy your Labor Day weekend!!

Swagbucks is Rolling Out Some Fun New Things!

Swagbucks contacted me and asked me to share the news with my readers that they are rolling out a few new things. The biggest thing is their new toolbar that is compatible with IE, Firefox and Safari. It has some fun new add ons like games and e-mail notifiers. It is available as of today - September 1st! Go HERE to download it. The best part - Swagbucks will be releasing a new code every day in September, and you can only get it through the toolbar. That's 30 free swagbucks!

If you have not yet signed up for swagbucks, go HERE and do so today! Be sure to use the code "bethswagcode" (all lower case, do not include the quotes) and you will get 3 swagbucks for signing up and 2 for using the code. That means you're only 40 swagbucks away from your first $5 Amazon gift card (or you're on your way to tons of other fun prizes from the SwagStore. I have lost count of how many $5 Amazon gift cards I've received through this program, but I can tell you that I just bought $54 worth of items for my baby's first birthday, and I paid $4 out of pocket. Swagbucks covered the other $50!!

I know I've talked about swagbucks several times before, but I just can't get enough. It's free to sign up, and you basically earn swagbucks for doing the normal internet searches that you would normally do anyway on a site like Google or any of the other search engines out there. Then, when you've earned enough, you redeem them for prizes.

So, that's the scoop - hope you're all enjoying swagbucks by now!

Free Country Bob's Sauce

Go HERE to request a coupon for a FREE bottle of Country Bob's all purpose sauce!

Thanks Hip2Save!

It's that Time Again - New Coupons!

It's the 1st of September, and that means new coupons on!

A few of the best ones I noticed are:

.50/1 Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers (We ought to be able to use these to get really cheap or free veggies!!)
.50/1 Progresso broth
$1/1 Yoplait Delights Yogurt multipacks
.60/2 Old El Paso products (You can use these to get super cheap taco seasoning!)
